Brenda Pierce's two
week China tour
Carol,
My Mom, sisters (Connie and Melanie), and I had a
fabulous time on our two-week Uniworld tour of China. Considering all expenses were paid,
including three flights within China it was a great deal! All accommodations were
first class (some 5 star!)
Our Uniworld guide, Larry Liu, was very
conscientious and considerate. He always kept us together so no one would get lost. All
the Chinese people were friendly. The children liked to wave and practice their English by
saying Hello, how are you.
There was so much to see. The
biggest highlights of the trip were the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the terracotta
soldiers in Xian, and the gorges on the Yangtze and Daning Rivers. The weather was
perfect, 75-80 every day, no rain.
The sightseeing schedule kept us busy. We had time
to relax on the cruise and get to know others in the group. They were fun people from all
over the U.S. and Canada.
We returned home tired, satisfied, and a couple
pounds heavier from all the food.
Thanks for making all the arrangements for the four
of us everything went like clockwork.
Sincerely,
Brenda Pierce
