Terry & Lisa Messelhiser's Cancun Get-Away

messelhiser-01.jpg (32669 bytes)Hi Carol,

I wanted to thank you for our wonderful vacation to Cancun. Our hotel (Oasis Playa Cancun All-Inclusive) was wonderful, very nice and clean, the food and drinks were both great. We were able to play at the other Oasis hotel which we did go and check out, but we decided we liked our hotel better it was easier to get around in, we did not have so far to walk from the bus areas, and we had more selection of food at the Oasis Playa Cancun, where we stayed.

I also wanted to thank you for confirming our rooms and sending the letter to the manager for an upgrade. We did get our upgrade when we got there, everyone had balcony ocean view rooms. Thank you so much for doing that for us the views were beautiful.

While we were in Cancun we did the Jungle tour with the little boats, that was a lot of fun!! They took us through the lagoon and out into the ocean where we snorkeled along a reef that had many colorful fish and we also seen one stingray. That was great!! Afterwards we did some shopping at several of the malls and found lots of stuff. The Kukulcan mall was nice had lots of fun stores, we also went to the Forum by the Sea mall and that was neat, the Hard Rock is located in that mall as well as Coco Bongo and several neat shops.

We also went on the Bar Leaping Tour offered through Olympus Tours that was fun it took you to four different places like Carlos & Charlie's, Senior Frogs, & Coco Bongo, and one other place. It was fun, because we did not have to pay the hefty cover charges or wait in lines, and it was all you could drink of certain items. I would recommend Carlos & Charlie's and Coco Bongo to anyone, just to go and see, it was neat.

messelhiser-07.jpg (28567 bytes)Another place we visited was Isla Majeres, we took the Ferry over and when we got there we rented golf carts for $35.00 US per cart which held 4 people. Golf Carts must be their main source of transportation, because you rarely seen a normal car over there. Anyway we drove around the whole island and made some stops at Garrafon where we ate lunch, it was very pretty there. We did a little shopping, then we stopped at a beach that was great and enjoyed the rest of our day before we got back on the ferry and headed back to Cancun. I think renting the golf carts was great, you got to see so much more, and you could stop as often as you wanted. Our trip was a lot of fun, and we had very nice weather with calm seas about 4 out of the 7 days. Carol thank you again, for a great vacation to Cancun. You are fun to work with and you always make sure that everything goes as smooth as possible for your customers.

Thanks so much,

Terry & Lisa A. Messelhiser
